Perched on the foothills of Troodos, are 14 picturesque villages renowned for their wine production.; known as the wine villages. Reach them either via the Limassol – Pafos road, turning right at Erimi village or via the Limassol – Platres road. Maintaining traditional architecture stone built houses and cobbled streets are surrounded by vineyards. Visit the villages and sample along with exquisite wine, delicacies made from grape juice as well as pastries and homemade breads known as koilani glitzista and arkatena.
